The Solar Plexus Chakra, is the energetic centre of personal power, will, and self-worth. Located between the Navel and Heart chakras, it is the fiery core of your personality, your ego, your sense of identity. This chakra is about doing, taking action, asserting yourself, and shaping your life with confidence and clarity.
Physically, the Solar Plexus governs the stomach, upper intestines, adrenal glands, upper spine, and back. When out of balance, it can manifest in conditions such as:
- Digestive disorders
- Diabetes
- Hypoglycaemia
- Adrenal fatigue
Emotionally, its imbalances often revolve around power and control, either a loss of it or an over-exertion of it.
When open and balanced, this chakra radiates like a sun. You feel confident, self-assured, and in charge of your direction. You trust your instincts, make decisions with clarity, and carry yourself with a calm but unmistakable sense of inner strength.
If underactive, you may feel timid, passive, or indecisive, unable to assert your needs or take action. Life might seem like something that happens to you rather than something you shape. On the other hand, if overactive, the Solar Plexus can express as aggression, domineering tendencies, or a need to control others and your environment.
